Bionic Hand
The bionic hand is the first project of Bvation.
We developed an robotic arm. Subsequently we programmed a software which allows you to control our Bionic Hand via 3 ways:
1: Control Interface
2: Visual Tracking System
In adition to a simple interface, we developed a visual tracking system which allows you to control the Bionic Hand by your motions more specific by your hand gestures. You only have to record your Hand/Arm with your smartphone or any other camera. The tracking system will automaticlly subtract the background and analyse your arm pose and the gesture you are making with your fingers. Subsequently it will convert these data into signals which it sends to the Bionic Hand as an result that the Bionic Hand imitates the motions you are making.
3: Mind control
The brain control interface is the core of our work. By using recent EEG technology we are able to "read" your mind. With our Software you can train your mind especially your thoughts so that our algorithms can recognize the thought in a later process. After your thought training you are able to link your trained thoughts with functions of the Bionic Hand through our software. When you fiinished training and linking you are finally able to control the Hand with your thoughts. You can open our control interface and the software will deal with the rest of it. It will acess the data stream of the EEG and recognize your current thoughts. These signals will be interpreted and the results will be send to the Hand.
